DescriptionDiary; During his time on the aircraft carrier USS Intrepid (CV-11), Raymond Stone kept a diary, which he later used as the basis for his memoir, "My Ship! The USS Intrepid" (2004). The diary lists major dates and events on board Intrepid during World War II, including commissioning, kamikaze attacks, ports of call and other involvements in the Pacific Theater.
