James J. Leslie

James Leslie, who goes by Jimmy, served on board the aircraft carrier USS Intrepid (CVS-11) with carrier airborne early warning squadron VAW-33 in 1967. He was an aviation electronics technician radar third class, ATR3. He flew as air crew in the A-1 Skyraider, serving as an electronic countermeasures operator. After his time in the U.S. Navy, Leslie went on to become a police officer.
