John E. Standish

John E. (Jack) Standish served in the U.S. Navy from July 1958 until May 1961. He served on board the aircraft carrier USS Intrepid (CVA-11) as an electrician’s mate second class, EM2, from 1959–1961. He was part of the E Division. After his time in the Navy, Standish went on to become a master electrician and facilities manager. Standish passed away on December 11, 2016.
