John Bardo Gattey

John Bardo Gattey served on board the aircraft carrier USS Intrepid (CV-11) in 1944. He was a maintenance officer and worked in the V-6 Division as an Ensign. Gattey was killed on November 25, 1944 as a result of the kamikaze attacks. He was buried at sea.
