Anthony Francica
Anthony Francica immigrated to the United States from Italy as a child. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1967 to 1973. Francica served on board the aircraft carrier USS Intrepid (CVS-11) from March 1968 until September 1969 as an engineman third class, EN3. A member of the Engineering Department, he worked on Intrepid's forward emergency generator. After he left Intrepid, Francica volunteered for the submarine service. He served on board the submarine USS Seawolf (SSN-575).
The Museum recorded Francica's oral history interview (OHP.124). He also works as a museum volunteer.
