Gofrido C. Garcia

Gofrido Garcia served on board the aircraft carrier USS Intrepid (CVS-11) from 1971 to 1974 as a photographer’s mate third class (PH3) in the OP Division. He was part of the crew that decommissioned Intrepid. Garcia's parents were born in the Philippines, and his father served in the Navy during World War II. Garcia remained in the Reserves for 15 years.

He has been interviewed for the Museum's oral history collection (OHP.215).
