Shirley Cooper

Shirley Cooper, nee Simpson, is the wife of Wayne Cooper, who served on board the aircraft carrier USS Intrepid (CVA-11) as a radarman third class (RD3) in the combat information center (CIC) in the OI Division from 1956 to 1957. Shirley wrote many letters to Wayne while he was in the Navy.
