David M. Rees
David M. Rees served on board the aircraft carrier USS Coral Sea (CVA-43) as a radar intercept officer (RIO) and naval aviator. He held the rank of lieutenant. Rees was in the F-4 Phantom that landed mistakenly aboard USS Intrepid (CVS-11), instead of USS Coral Sea, on November 17, 1967. The Museum interviewed Rees for the oral history collection (OHP.225).
