Wyvil M. Sartain
Wyvil M. Sartain served as a Yeoman Master Chief Petty Officer (YNCM) with Antisubmarine Warfare Group Four (ASW Group 4) on board USS Intrepid (CVS-11) from 1972 to 1973. Sartain was an aide for Rear Admiral George Cassell, Commander of ASW Group 4. He was the admiral's writer, social secretary and senior enlisted advisor. Sartain served in the U.S. Navy from 1954 until 1977.
