Stanley P. Schwartz

Stanley Schwartz served on board the aircraft carrier USS Intrepid (CVA-11) as a naval flight officer. He operated radar equipment in A-1 Skyraiders with a detachment of Composite Squadron 12 (VC-12) in 1955. He was a lieutenant junior grade during his time on Intrepid. He remained in the U.S. Navy for years following his service on Intrepid, utlimately retiring from the U.S. Navy Reserve in 1983. During his time in the reserves, he served at Floyd Bennett Field. He participated in the oral history project (OHP.049).
