He is standing on the flight deck and looking directly at the camera. He is holding two cameras and a pair of aviator sunglasses and has one camera around his neck. There are Sikorsky SH-3D Sea King helicopters and other sailors visible behind him. Identification markings on the aircraft include "550" on the side of the helicopter and "AU // Navy // HS-11 // 50 // 2692" on the tail.
