DescriptionTag, Dog; Set of two silver metal dog tags (a, b) connected by a ball link chain. Each dog tag has straight sides and rounded ends, with a small half-circle notch on one end. The chain goes through a circular hole at the other end. Each tag has a flat metal surface on one side, and the edges fold slightly under to the reverse side. On the flat surface personal information has been stamped into the metal. The text reads "Pulaski D. // 5387897 USN A // Prot".
