DescriptionPhotograph, black and white; Official horizontal image of 6 Grumman TBM-3 Avengers flying in a line abreast formation. TBM-3 versions of the Avenger had hard points on the wings for rockets and the ability to carry a APS-4 surface vessel search radar pod, visible on each aircraft under the right wings. There is a white border around the image.

Back reads "VT-18 // 1944" handwritten in black ink.
