DescriptionPhotograph, Black and white; Personal square image of a Grumman TBM-3E Avenger in flight. There is "112" painted on the body of the aircraft. The vertical stabilizer is painted with a vertical white stripe, the identification marking for Air Group 10. The image was taken from another aircraft and the wing of that aircraft, likely a Grumman TBM-3E Avenger, is partially visible at the bottom left of the image. There are mountains and land visible beneath the aircraft. There is a white border around the image with scalloped edges.Back has "Lyle & Norma Ball // 239 North Wightman St. // Ashland, OR 97520" printed in black ink and "301" printed in blue ink.
