DescriptionPhotograph, Color; Personal horizontal image of a gun tub on USS Intrepid. There are two Marines sitting in front of the gun mount in work uniforms and hats. They are sitting in chairs behind a small table with rifles and cleaning materials. One man has light skin and medium hair and the other has dark skin and dark hair. A 5-inch anti-aircraft gun is behind the two men. The water beyond the ship is calm and the sky is clear and blue. There is a white border around the image with "Aug 72" printed in blue ink.

Back has "Everyone is getting ready for the // inspection, well not everyone. This is // the gun mount where on nice days // we go out and relax in the sun. // But today we were relaxing and working // at the same time." handwritten in blue ink.
