DescriptionScrapbook; Intrepid 1944–1945. Richard "Dick" O’Brien was a photographer's mate on board USS Intrepid. His photo album of 98 black pages contains black and white photographs attached to pages using glue, tan photo corners, or loose. The screw post bound book has red fabric covers with “Photographs.” in gold on the front.

Note that at least one photograph in this scrapbook shows a person in blackface (pie eating contest, p. 59).
