DescriptionPoster, Political; Vertical color World War II propaganda poster. The image depicts a Chinese soldier marching forward carrying a rifle affixed with a bayonet. He wears a light colored army uniform with rolled sleeves and shorts, a hat and tall boots. Behind him stands a Chinese child wearing traditional attire of white top and pants and a green vest. They both have medium skin and the child has dark hair. In the background, bodies lie on the ground covered with white cloth. A damaged wood pole leans to the left with a green pagoda-like structure in the distance. Text on the poster reads "China // carries on // United China Relief // Member agency of the National War Fund". There is Chinese lettering in orange vertically on the right. The poster is signed by artist Baldridge on the right near the soldier's foot. The poster is unmounted.
