Forsyth served aboard Intrepid in 1944 as a SB2C Helldiver pilot with Bombing Squadron 18 (VB-18). Included in this collection are a training manual on flight quarters, recognition magazines, an issue of Intrepid's newspaper, and Navy work safety posters featuring the character Spoiler the mechanic.
