BiographyBritish Airways (BA) is the flag carrier airline of the United Kingdom. It is headquartered in London, England at Heathrow Airport. BA was created in 1974 by the British government when they merged the two nationalised airlines, British Overseas Airways Corporation and British European Airways, as well as two smaller regional carriers. BA operated the Concorde from 1976 to 2003.
