DescriptionPlaque; Unpainted black circular plaque of the first Growler insignia that reads “USS Growler // SSG 577” and the Latin motto “Telo utor // peregrinabor” (have missile, will travel). The insignia’s imagery depicts the globe North and South America, Africa and Western Europe contitents. Growler is positioned in the Atlantic Ocean with a Regulus II missile taking off in the center of the image. The overall image is in relief.On View
