DescriptionPhotograph, Black and white; Vertical image of three enlisted men in white uniforms with black neckerchiefs and white “Dixie cup” hats posing for a souvenir photograph in front of a grass hut. The sailor in the center is standing and the other two men are kneeling next to him. The man on the left has a third class electrician's mate rating patch and the man on the right has a second class electrician's mate rating patch. The three men have light skin and dark hair. The upper left corner is bent. Accompanying donor note reads "In envelope: Personal items for my dad - Robert N. Mary // plankholder U.S.S. Intrepid // Pictures my dad + 2 wwk. sailors // wearing whites in front of grass hut he is on right".
