DescriptionPhotograph, Black and white; Horizontal image of three officers cutting three cakes celebrating the 111,000, 112,000, and 113,000 arrested landings on the aircraft carrier USS Intrepid. They are standing on the flight deck. The officer on the left is wearing khakis and a garrison cap. The two on the right are wearing khakis and Attack Squadron 15 (VA-15) baseball caps. Captain William McVey is standing next to the table on the right. The four officers all have light skin. There are crew members in white undershirts and other work uniforms in the background, under the island. There is a white border around the image.
