DescriptionPhotograph, Black and white; Horizontal image of a group of men standing on bleachers in four ascending rows. The men are wearing dress white uniforms with white enlisted hats, also known as “Dixie cups,” and black neckties. The men all have light skin. Two men in the bottom center row hold a dark flag that says “Gunner’s mate // school // Co. 1120” in white letters. In the center of the flag is a white diamond with two black crossed rifles. A dark building can be seen in the background on the right.The back has a handwritten inscription that reads “J. J. C.” in the top right corner.
