BiographyJohn J. Colleary joined the crew of the aircraft carrier USS Intrepid (CV-11) on September 19, 1943. He was a gunner’s mate first class (GM1) and worked in the 2nd Division. Colleary was transferred off the ship for discharge on January 15, 1946.
