DescriptionPhotograph, Color; Personal square image of a Douglas A-4B Skyhawk of VSF-3 on Intrepid's flight deck. Identification numbers on the aircraft include "102" on the nose, "AK // 2733" on the tail and "Navy" on the body. There is a Sikorsky SH-3A Sea King partially visible with "61" on its nose. There are flight deck personnel directly the aircraft. The sea is calm and the sky is cloudy. There is a white border around the image.Donor note reads "Medical Department // U.S.S. Intrepid CVS-11 // A-4 off the gear taxi- // ing down the deck to // be spotted by yellow // shirt" in black and blue ink.
