DescriptionPhotograph, Color; Personal square image of a Douglas A-4 Skyhawk taxiing on the flight deck. There are other Skyhawks, Vought F-8C Crusaders of VF-111 Det. 11 (aircraft number 20 and 16) and RF-8G Photo Crusaders of VFP-63 Det. 11 (aircraft numbers 401 and 403) lined up on the flight deck next to and behind the taxiing aircraft. Identification markings on the aircraft visible include "401," "20," "16," and "403" on the noses of the aircraft. The image is taken from the island and an American flag is visible attached to the island. The sea around the ship is calm and the sky is cloudy.
