DescriptionSquare blue box (a) with white paper packaging sleeve (b) and two informational card inserts (c,d) for souvenir Concorde plate (2022.03.01).a) Box; Square blue cardboard box that separates into a top and bottom side. The bottom of the box fits fully within the top. The interior of the box has a white paper insert that folds out into four corner flaps and has the Wedgwood logo symbol imprinted on one side. The center of the box top has the Wedgwood W logo design in white with "Wedgwood // England 1759" below in blue. On the top and bottom side edges of the box top "Wedgwood" is printed in blue. A white paper label has been affixed to the left side of the box top with black printed text that reads "British Airways // Tray Oct + B/S // S13AX0060 // Made in England" and a barcode on the right. The interior of the box top has "WSU18" printed in blue on the top edge and "Wedgwood (R) is a registered trademark of Wedgwood limited // Barlaston Stoke-on-Trent England".
b) Sleeve, Packaging; White paper sleeve open on two ends to go over box (a). The center of the sleeve has "Concorde" with the speedwing logo embossed in silver. A white sticker on the lower back of the sleeve has black text that reads "CG 9902".
c) Card; Blue paper souvenir insert card for plate (2022.03.01) stored in box (a). The card has "Concorde" printed in blue at the top with the speedwing logo. Blue text on the card reads "Please accept this gift with our compliments // produced for Concorde by Wedgwood // from their Atlas Collection. // As a statement of appreciation no gift says // more than Wedgwood, representing British // craftsmanship at its finest and synonymous // with quality and skilled artistry since 1759. // We hope it will be a lasting reminder // of your flight on Concorde, // the British Airways flagship. // Wedgwood // England 1759".
