DescriptionLabel, Decanter; Metal bourbon (a) and rye (b) liquor labels, Concorde 10th anniversary gray box (c) with removable burgundy plastic holder, and folded instructional paper (d).

a-b) Labels – Rectangular labels with scalloped corners and a curb chain. One has “Bourbon // Concorde” and a logo imprinted on its front. The other has “Rye // Concorde” and a logo imprinted on its front. Both have four silver hallmark makers marks stamped on the back of a “BA”, anchor, lion, and “M”.

c) Box – Gray clamshell box with Concorde logo depicting an abstract silhouette of a Concorde plane flying to the proper left in red with the text, “Concorde” above, and a round seal with “British Airways // 10 // 1976 Concord 1986” printed in silver and red.

d) Brochure – The front has “An exclusive // solid silver gift // from // Concorde” printed in silver and a Concorde logo depicting an abstract silhouette of a Concorde plane flying to the proper left in red with the text, “Concorde” above. The interior reads “This original set of sterling silver decanter // labels has been exclusively designed for // Concorde passengers. // Each piece bears a specially registered // British Airways Hallmark: BA – British Airways – the sponsors mark. // (anchor) – The Anchor of the Birmingham // Assay Office. // (lion) – The Lion which denotes sterling // silver. // M – A letter ‘M” showing the year of // manufacture – 1986. // Caring for precious metal: Under some // conditions silver tarnishes; this is perfectly // normal. A soft duster and proprietary // brand of long-life silver polish will quickly // restore its original lustre.” printed in silver. The back has “Designed & manufactured // exclusively for Concorde // by // Troika // Stratford-upon-Avon. // England” printed in silver.
