BiographyElbert E. Austin served on board the aircraft carrier USS Intrepid (CVA/CVS-11) from November 1961 until January 1964. He was an electronics technician (communications) third class, ETN3. Mr. Austin was also interviewed for the museum's oral history project (OHP.229).
