DescriptionCase; Gray leather stationery envelope (a) with two unused color postcards (b-c) found inside. a) Case - Gray leather stationery envelope has fold over flap and button snap closure on the front and "Concorde" imprinted on the bottom right. The interior lining is burgundy cloth with repeating "British Airways" embroidered throughout.
b) One postcard - Postcard depicts photograph of Concorde on a runway at night.
c) Other postcard - Postcard depicts photograph of Concorde in flight against a dark blue sky with nine British Aerospace Systems Hawks from the Red Arrows, the Royal Air Force Aerobatic Team. The two Hawks on each end have contrails.
On the back of both is “Concorde // British Airways” and logos printed in silver, black, and red ink. The Concorde logo depicts an abstract silhouette of a Concorde plane flying. The British Airways logo imagery is a red ribbon folded over itself, revealing white on the other side, called a “Speedmarque”.
