The photograph was taken from the port of the forward section of the deck with “USS Enterprise” stamped in gold. The back has “Our Navy // Photos” and “1 Hanson // Brooklyn 17, N.Y.” stamped in blue. The brown envelope has a label that reads “Our Navy // 1 Hanson Place // Brooklyn 17, N.Y. // E.F. Standish, Jr. // 1580 Central St. // Stoughton, Mass. // Enterprise 65 –F” and “U.S. Carriers + Naval // Aircraft” and “Jack” written in pencil around it.
