DescriptionWristwatch; Zodiac Aerospace GMT watch (a), box (b), exterior box lid (c) and bottom (d), metal tabs on strings (e-g), four user manuals (h-k), modern sales slip (l), and insurance certificate (m).a) Watch – Metal wristwatch with a round glass face with a stick dial, date window, and metal stretch expansion band. The face of the watch has “Zodiac // Aerospace GMT // automatic // Swiss made” printed on it in black and even numbers from 0-24 around the rim. The back of the case has “Zodiac // Aerospace // automatic-Swiss // 20ATM – waterproof” imprinted and “SKT” hand engraved near the edge. The back of the band has “Stainless-steel” imprinted on it. The band is modern, purchased in 1995 (see sales slip).
b) Box – Red faux leather hinged box with “Zodiac” repeating on the top exterior in gold and black, 12 gilt gold zodiac symbols running around the sides, and a gold “Box made // in // Sweden” on the bottom exterior. The interior top has “Zodiac // Aerospace GMT // The world travelers watch // fine watches since 1882 // 17 jewels – self-winding – shockproof – waterproof – antimagnetic” and a map of Earth printed in red, black, and gold on off-white fabric. The interior bottom has a removable red felt holder for the watch and two removable paper tabs that read “Self winding // waterproof” and “$110 // Zodiac” in gold and red.
c) Exterior box lid – Crimson lid with “Zodiac” in gold and “S.K. Taylor” written in black ink on the top and a label on the side that reads “White dial // Aerospace GMT // #1762 // 17 J Steel WP // automatic // $110.00 // Zodiac”.
d) Exterior box bottom – Crimson bottom with “Box made // in // Sweden” printed in white on the bottom.
e) Metal tab – Rectangular red and gold tab on a white string found within box (b) with “Zodiac // lifetime // mainstring” on one side and “Zodiac // lifetime // balance staff” on the other in relief.
f) Metal and paper tab – Circular red and gold tab on a red string found within disposed plastic bag with “Zodiac // Swiss-made” and the 12 symbols of the zodiac on one side in relief and “Aerospace GMT // #1782 // 17 J Steel WP // automatic // $110.00” printed in black on the other.
g) Metal tab – Circular red and gold tab on a yellow string found within disposed plastic bag with “A master crafted // Kreisler // watchband” on one side and “Fine // watches // Zodiac // since 1882” on the other in relief.
h) Manual – “How to use your // Zodiac // Aerospace GMT” brochure found folded within disposed plastic bag.
i) Manual – “How to use… // Zodiac // ‘Datographic’” brochure found within disposed plastic bag.
j) Manual – “How to use… // Zodiac // Second setting // feature // ‘Hack watch’” brochure found within disposed plastic bag.

l) Sales slip – Customer credit card receipt copy for $75 from July 10, 1995 for “complete repair” and replacement band from Crystal City Watchmaker // Arlington, VA” found folded in exterior box bottom (d).
m) Brochure – “Servicemen’s group // life insurance // certificate” brochure found folded in exterior box bottom (d).
Accompanying donor note reads "This Zodiac Aerospace GMT watch // was purchased on Sept. 11, 1967, // onboard USS Intrepid at Subic Bay, // Philippines. I paid $55.00 for it. // Sam Taylor // 777-45-68 // USN".
