E. George Wynn served on board the aircraft carrier USS Intrepid (CV-11). He moved around quite a bit in the Navy, but served with VF-10 when it was attached to Intrepid. He was an aviation radio technician first class. His papers include yearbooks from both his Intrepid cruise and Carrier Air Group Ten, a diary of his time aboard Intrepid, various identification and information cards, U.S. Navy issued booklets, an annotated map, and other various records regarding Wynn's Navy service.
