DescriptionSlide, Color; Horizontal image of USS Intrepid sailing into or out of port. Crew members are manning the rails. There are Vought F-8 Crusaders parked in the center of the deck, and the ship’s island is in the center of the photograph. The enlisted men along the edge of the ship are wearing dress blue uniforms and white “Dixie cup” hats. There is a large suspension bridge in the background. There is a white border around the image.A modern reprint photograph of slide was donated and put in file that has "CV-11 // Mediterranean deployment // November 1972 // Photo: PH-3 Garcia USN" written on the back.
The slide mount has "Seal edge with warm iron. // Do not touch film. // Made in U.S.A." printed in black.
