DescriptionPhotograph, Black and White; Horizontal official U.S. Navy photograph of four crew members posing in primary flight control, or Pri-Fly, on board USS Intrepid. One man with light skin and light hair stands at left apart from the other three men. He is wearing a light colored sweater with “Air Boss” stenciled on the chest and a dark cap with the USS Intrepid seal. Gofrido (Ed) Garcia stands at the front right. He has medium skin, dark hair and a mustache. He is wearing glasses and a dark jacket. Two other men stand to the left of Garcia. One man has light skin, dark hair and a mustache. He is wearing a dark sweater and holds a lit cigarette in his right hand. A black stencil on his chest partially reads “PRI”. The man behind him has light skin, dark hair and a beard. He is wearing a dark coat, with the USS Intrepid seal on the proper left chest, over a dark sweater. The men pose between chairs and windows overlooking the flight deck.
