DescriptionCamera, 35 mm; Argus C3 Rangefinder camera (a) and brown leather case in two parts, a top portion (b) and bottom portion with strap (c). The camera (a) has a black body with silver knobs and details. The front of camera body has “Argus” in silver. The rim of lens has “f/ 3.5 50mm Argus coated cintar Made in U.S.A.” and numbers for selecting aperture printed in black.
Top portion of leather case (b) reads, "Alan Brooking // 1829 N. W. 29th // Okla City Okla" printed in gold. "Argus" is printed in gold on the portion that covers the lens. The interior of the case is lined in dark blue velvet. A metal plate on the interior reads, "Color-Matic Settings // Recommended for Average // Outdoor Conditions // Color Film–Yellow Settings // Black & White Film–Red Settings // Flash Synchronizes at Green // Shutter Speed Setting" printed in black. This section of the case has three snap closures that connect to bottom portion of case. "Top Grain Cowhide // Made In U.S.A" is stamped on bottom.
Bottom portion of case (c) has leather strap pinned to side, with two buckles for length adjustment. It is lined with blue velvet.
