DescriptionPatch, Insignia; Circular painted leather insignia patch for Fighting Squadron 18 (VF-18). The patch depicts a purple-red devil from the chest up, with red, orange and yellow flames on the bottom half. The devil has a one finger pointed to his mouth and has a mischievous grin. The nickname for this squadron insignia was "The Fickle Finger." The devil has pointed ears, a central point on its head and two horns. There is an orange and yellow halo above its head. The patch has a teal background and a black outline around the edge.
