DescriptionPhotograph, Black and white; Personal vertical photograph of John Jennerjohn posing with USS Intrepid’s World War II scoreboard or scorecard, which is painted on the island. He is standing next to an open watertight door. A medical cross is painted on the bulkhead behind the man’s head with an arrow pointing towards the door. There is a “W” painted on the interior of the door. A chart is on the bulkhead at right. It has two columns and “Fighter status” is painted at the top. The man is looking at the camera and has light skin and dark hair. He is wearing a U.S. Navy dungaree uniform, white undershirt, and coat. There is a scalloped white border around the image.The back has “006” stamped on it in black ink. “John Johnjenner [crossed out] // Jennerjohn” is handwritten in black ink. “0” and “+” are hand written in black ink on the upper left border on the back.
