The Eric Moyer and Phillip Craig Papers contains correspondence to Eric Moyer from Phillip C. Craig and Craig’s mother, Annabel. Phillip C. Craig, a pilot with Fighting Squadron 15 (VF-15), was lost in a combat mission over North Vietnam in 1967 while flying from USS Intrepid. The correspondence from Craig discusses his movements, training and experiences on Intrepid. He discussed flying A-4 Skyhawks and the age of the ship. The correspondence from Craig's mother Annabel discusses everyday life as well as the return of Craig's remains and ultimately his burial in 1987. The collection also includes correspondence to Annabel from politicians and others. Included in the correspondence are newspaper clippings, postcards and the eulogy read at Craig's funeral.
