DescriptionMatchbook; White USS Intrepid recommissioning matchbook with no matches on the interior. On the front cover is an image of Intrepid's port side at sea printed in black ink. Printed below the image is text that reads "U.S.S. Intrepid (CVA-11). Text printed in black ink at the bottom of the cover reads "Close Cover Before Striking Match". The lower front flap has a purple striker strip at bottom. The back has "Recommissioned // 18 June 1954" printed diagonally in black ink. On the top short edge of the matchbook "U.S. Navy" is printed in black ink and on the bottom short edge is text printed in black ink that reads "The Diamond Match Co. Springfield, Mass." with a diamond printed at the center.On View
