DescriptionPhotograph, Black and white; Official horizontal image of USS Intrepid in dry dock to repair torpedo damage seen from the stern. The hull is visible from the fantail down. Scaffolding surrounds the bottom of the ship. The rig for the jury rudder is visible on either side of the hull, but the jury-rigged rudder itself has been removed. A few people stand at the bottom of the dry dock.
