DescriptionUniform, Military; U.S. Navy enlisted service dress white jumper with long square collar flap. There is a mess attendant or steward's mate patch attached to the lower left sleeve. The patch features a navy blue embroidered crescent or half-moon shape. The patch has been sewn on backwards; the points of the crescent face to the left, rather than to the right, which is how the insignia was properly worn. A twill label has been affixed upside down to the back inside bottom edge of the jumper and has a black stencil that reads "442C-2".On View
