BiographyWilliam Jinks served as an aviation electrician’s mate (instrument repair) airman, AEMAN, on board the aircraft carrier USS Intrepid (CVA-11) from 1957 until 1959 in the V-1 Division. He worked on the landing signal officer, LSO, platform both as a spotter and a talker to the tower.
