BiographyLawrence Glacy served in the U.S. Navy from 1957 to 1966. He served on board the submarine USS Growler (SSG-577) as a quartermaster first class, QM1, in the Navigation Division from 1960–1963. After his time in the Navy, he became a lawyer and a lichenologist. Glacy was interviewed twice for the Museum’s oral history project (OHP029 and OHP152).
