BiographyJohn W. Taylor served on board the aircraft carrier USS Intrepid (CVS-11) as a yeoman third class (YN3) from 1965 to 1966. He served on board the ship during its first deployment during the Vietnam War. Taylor initially served as part of the X Division and later moved to the Air Department.
