DescriptionHelmet, Aviator's; U.S. Navy APH-6A white flight helmet. There is off-white reflective tape covering exterior of helmet and four triangles on top. On the back are two stripes of green tape and a green "K" along with two illegible letters. On the left side is a green reflective tape hawk and a green reflective knight horse's head chess piece on the proper right, both VAW-33 Knight Hawk (also known as Nighthawk) insignias. A clear visor is in the lowered position and glued to sides and is no longer retractable. One cord extends from the helmet that is broken off and frayed at the end and a microphone that is lowered from the proper left side that reads "M-95A/UR // MFR: 78711" and "1966" and other illegible numbers along its cord. The interior has a blue fabric head strap, missing earpieces, and "Feola // VAW 33" written in black ink on the foam.On View
