John Sheperson had copied down his calendar before he left USS Intrepid. The calendar is a diary of sorts that details the major events that happened on board Intrepid from March–September 1945 and includes Intrepid strikes in the Pacific Theater, strikes against Intrepid, and day to day life on board.
