Page 2: Contains one newsletter titled “The Hecubulletin Weekly” dated July 21 (no year), Volume 1, Number 2. Includes articles on the captain of the ship Hecuba and various divisions and departments.
Page 3: Contains one memorandum addressed to U.S.S. Intrepid’s “All Hands” dated January 30, 1944 about the Air Group’s recent activity and progress.
Page 4: Contains one membership card and one clipping. Top card is an Imperial Domain of the Golden Dragon membership card for R. L. Loftin dated January 22, 1944. The bottom clipping has a black and white photograph showing a line of sailors waving to an aircraft carrier (possibly Intrepid).
Page 5: Contains one U.S.S. Intrepid Plan of the Day dated February 16, 1944.
Page 6: Contains two clippings. Top clipping is a partial memorandum that discusses damage done by Intrepid’s Air Group. Bottom clipping is an information card about Rex Lavon Loftin’s berthing assignment on board U.S.S. Intrepid.
Page 7: Contains three items. Top left is a Christmas Day menu from U.S.S. Intrepid dated December 25, 1944. Top right is a newspaper clipping titled “Board of Directors, 3rd Fleet” with black and white photographs of the members. Bottom is a certificate from Fire Fighter’s School in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii for R.L. Loftin, SK3/c, USNR for completing a firefighting course dated July 22, 1944.
