DescriptionScrapbook; 4 scrapbook pages with newspaper clippings and annotations from Edward Hill Jr. Most cover the November 25, 1944 kamikaze attack on USS Intrepid.Page one contains three newspaper clippings with black and white photographs of the kamikaze attack on Intrepid and resulting damage. Top left clipping titled "Kamikaze Victim" has a photograph of crew members with hoses putting out fires on the flight deck. Bottom left clipping has two photographs of the attack on Intrepid from afar with the captions "Pilot Breaks Through Flak Curtains" and "Flames Roar As Jap Plane Explodes." Clipping on the right side is titled "Picture of the Month // Kamikaze // Blaze." "November 25, 1944 // The // same // Kamikaze // Explosion // from // two // different // views!" is handwritten in the middle of the page. The clippings are annotated with handwritten notes. "E.F.
