DescriptionDigitized slide, Color; Personal horizontal image looking up from the fantail at a Douglas A-1 Skyraider coming in to land. The flight deck is jutting into the image on the right side of the photograph. The open water is calm and the sky is gray and cloudy. The donor has provided the following caption, “a view from the fantail of an AD Skyraider about to land. No doubt a dangerous place to take a picture as it wouldn’t be the first time an aircraft flew into the stern.”
